10.09.11 – Sunday, Sunday, SUNDAY!

A moment two-and-a-half years in the making is almost here…

THIS SUNDAY! THE SIDESHOW RETURNS!

Come back here before your Monday morning commute to download the very first SIDESHOW Podcast! And what a podcast it is. We enlisted the heavy hitters for our first show, reviewing all the big September 27th releases including the follow-up to one of the best albums of the last decade–Machine Head’s Unto the Locust. We’ve also got reviews of Mastodon’s The Hunter and Opeth’s Heritage, in which Brian and I bicker and Nick says something. Plus, our very first podcastified Freak of the Week!

Make sure to come on back after downloading the show to check out a recap of our reviews and links to everything we talked about. And don’t forget to comment! This is just as much YOUR podcast as it is ours and we want to hear from you. Post your comments to the recap right here at www.thesideshowpodcast.com. You can also comment on the show by Tweeting us at @SIDESHOWPodcast with #FirstPodcast or leave a post on our Facebook page (don’t forget to be super lame and “Like” us while you’re there). We want your suggestions on EVERYTHING–future reviews, Freaks of the Week, fashion tips…whatever you got, we can handle it.

Onto other business…

HUGE horns up to all of our followers on Twitter. The account’s been active barely two days and we’re already drowning in a sea of Freaks. Thank you! And like we mentioned already, to all the bands contacting us, keep it coming! We’re planning a bunch of different ways to get you guys involved. Stay tuned for more details.

Finally, we will hold our very first LIVE Tweeting session TONIGHT from the Frak the Gods Tour featuring Periphery, The Human Abstract, and Textures at Gramercy Theatre. Before we even post our first episode, we’re going to bring you instant reviews of tonight’s concert. Head on over and follow us on Twitter for the next best thing to see the show in person.
