With Thanksgiving this past week and your hosts having to travel (which Kyle…and Flauren…do as they record this week), see family, and stuff their faces, we didn’t want to review new albums we wouldn’t be focused on. Instead, we decided to have some fun with something we will probably do again, “Bargain Bin” reviews. These are albums that have been collecting dust in used sections, have been marked down to the point of giving it away, or, in this specific case, were part of a box of 30 random albums bought for $30. So, needless to say, there is going to be some real quality music discussed this week, and as we do this segment to finish off the box. Oh, and we are sure Brian will be able to scrounge up some more crappy albums during his constant music shopping.
Reviews: De Profundis – A Bleak Reflection; F**k Your Shadow From behind – Freigeist; Gilla Bruja – 6 Fingered Jesus; Paganizer – Born to be Buried Alive; Shuriken Cadaveric Entwinement – As the Shroud of Suffering Suffocates the Land; Zerstorer – Declaration of War

Actually, I just thought of this… to prove your point about how easy it is to make an album using free software, etc., and how terrible the albums you reviewed in this episode were, you should have your listeners record something on garageband and send it in. Doesn’t even have to be a song – just noise. Pots and pans in the kitchen. A stainless steel bowl full of water, anything. Couldn’t be worse, right?
Correct me if I’m wrong here, but I believe Kyle’s trunk is FULL of beer in this recording. I know the sound of clinking bottles when I hear it.
Hi Flauren!!
