Better Late Than Never: Brian’s Top 25 Albums of 2012

As anybody who has listened to this show a few times knows, I HATE doing these damn lists.    You and I both know the main reason is because I am extremely indecisive.  However, I also detest them because no matter how long I make the list (Kyle gets angry when I do more than 10) I still feel like I am slighting albums that don’t deserve it.   Then out of the albums I do pick, I have to split hairs over which ones I like more than others only to come up with a list I am not even sure I 100% agree with!  In the end, I have to get something together and just say, “Screw it.  It’s close enough.”

And that, my friends, is what you have below.  I could make ties or keep swapping around some of the albums in the bottom half of the list, but I got tired of it.  I am pretty comfortable with my choices, though. Sure, there are albums I listen to regularly that are not here, but somebody has to lose out, right?

Anyway, considering this list is going up late, we have talked about them all at length (some of them multiple times), and I am a bit lazy, I didn’t write explanations for any of them.  If you want to argue any of my placements or want to know why the hell an album is even on my list, just say so in the comments and I’ll respond to that…probably…
