As the title suggests, we unintentionally themed this week’s show about growing up. Not directly about us, or all of the bands, but it is here. We have a couple of bands who are figuring out who they are – one tries something a little different, another takes a look at back to their former self. The other couple are something a little different for your hosts. OK, one in particular stands out as the, um, new experience, but it’s always good to try new things. That’s what our mothers tell us, right?
Reviews: Code Orange – I Am King (Deathwish); The Haunted – Exit Wounds (Century Media); Set and Setting – A Vivid Memory (Prosthetic); Sólstafir – Ótta (Season of Mist)
Set & Setting – A Vivid Memory
All I have to ask is this: what’s more metal? Solstafir or the new Opeth?
Opeth.
That’s like asking “What’s more of a vegetable? Apples or Oranges?”
Apples.
