Having Friends Over to Play
Another show, another diverse line-up of album reviews. We have five releases this week, actually, because we invited some friends over to play…kinda. You’ll see, err, heard what I mean. Aaaand we play as long for each one of them! We also have a first impression! This episode is filled to the brim with aural pleasures, so get listening.
Reviews:
Royal Thunder – Crooked Doors (Relapse)
Minsk – The Crash and The Draw (Relapse)
Jahai – Death and Entrances [check out their video for “Pandora’s Box”]
Stonewall – Stonewall
In Other Climes – Leftover (Bastardized Recordings)
First Impression: iwrestledabearonce – “Erase It All” from Hail Mary out June 16, 2015 thru Artery Recordings
It’s a little surprising that you guys liked Royal Thunder. It just doesn’t seem like your type of thing.
As you said that we (as in the metal albums releases) are off to a slow start this year seems to apply to every year lately.
No time to write anything more, as I’m off to the At The Gates concert.
