Redeemed by the Proverbial Left Field
I guess that title is somewhat of a spoiler (assuming you haven’t looked dat the sidebar yet), but it’s true. It’s a good thing, though, because that means we have a couple of new “discoveries” that hopefully you’ll enjoy too! You should let us know your thoughts in the comments.
Reviews:
Devildriver – Trust No One (Napalm)
Enthean – Priests of Annihilation
The Hypothesis – Origin (Inverse)
First Impression:
Black Crown Initiate – “For Red Cloud” from Selves We Cannot Forgive out July 22nd from eOne
Enthean – Priests of Annihilation
Lol love the mini sneezing attack Brian had. Devildriver was underwhelming, totally agree with you guys on that one.
Thank you for feeling the need to point out my sneezing. It was obviously a very important part of the show. But note to self – mute the mic next time.
“Sideshow sweeties”. Nice. Others would include Dead Letter Circus and Pronostic. I’m sure there’s plenty others but this is what I came up with off the top of my head.
Cool review of Enthean. Once of my most anticipated blog reads each week has been “Tech-Death Tuesday” on Metal Injection. Enthean’s Priests of Annihilation was this week’s review including the stream of it.
Following up from last week, I’ve still been listening to Dreamless by Fallujah. Or I should say that I’ve been listening only to the first half of Dreamless, specifically the first 6 songs. This album is much more enjoyable when just focusing on the first half of the album rather than letting it get tiresome by listening to the entire thing.
Lots of good stuff for next week. I’m also going to checking out the new Gorguts EP, even though I didn’t love their last full length.
