My most disappointing album: The Ocean. Phanerozoic I: Palaeozoic. Oh man, am I disappointed. Expectations certainly play a huge part in it, as their previous album Pelagial is a contender for album of the decade for me. But Phanerozoic I: Palaeozoic never gets going and never sank in to make an impression on me. I’ve even gone back to revisit this album again now that a couple of months have passed, but it still refuses to reveal itself as a memorable album.
