“Join Bob (in the comments), he’s lonely over there.” Ha! I’m going to see Dream Theater live on Friday at the Beacon Theater. To look at it one way, I’m going by myself. To look at it another way, I’ll be with about 3,000 close friends.
-I hope you recorded this episode on a Thursday. You mentioned that Brian’s bachelor party was in two days. I’m assuming you are not flying to Vegas and having the party on a Wednesday.
-Moon Tooth. I bought Crux but haven’t really listened to it yet, as I have quite a backlog of albums right now. I’m too busy enjoying all 74 minutes of Empath by Devin Townsend. But it is a little disappointing to hear you give Crux by Moon Tooth only threes because this is an album I have high hopes for.
-Sermon has been getting lots of good reviews. So I bought it and have been listening to it. It hasn’t sunk in as much as I thought it would, but I am enjoying it. But unless it reveals something new after the sixth or seventh listen, I would not expect to see Sermon on my year end list.
-The rapid reiteration of a musical tone or of alternating tones to produce a tremulous effect is pronounced “TREM-uh-low”.
