You could have reviewed the new Pelican album this week to add to the number of instrumental bands in one episode. I’ve been listening to Nighttime Stories by Pelican and it’s not bad, though it doesn’t really break any new ground for Pelican. If you like Pelican, you’ll like Nighttime Stories. But if you don’t listen to it, you won’t really be missing anything.
I’ve been interested in listening to Flub but haven’t done so yet. The Artisan Era has been promoting them a decent amount, and it sounds like something right up my alley.
We actually were going to do Pelican until we read your comment. Then we were kinda like, “Eh, let’s fill it with something else then and check it out some other time.”
