Forget Me Not
The problem we had for some of the artists this week is not in their musicianship, but their ability to make us remember what the hell just happened. If you can’t handle that, then out already-crappy memories sure as hell aren’t going to remember their albums a year or more from now. Let us know in the comments (or social media) if you agree with our assessments!

I first came across Wilderun at the end of 2015 when AMG (Angry Metal Guy, not All Music Guide), named it as his album of the year. I bought their album and listened to it, but I never really gave it the time it truly deserved. And it seems that Wilderun’s 2019 release might fall through similar cracks for me. There seems to be tons of good music released in November that deserves my attention. But my current mindset is that I’d rather dedicate more time to listening to a smaller number of releases rather than listen to a lot of albums for a shorter amount of time. Which is another way of saying that I’ve been listening to a lot of the same albums over and over again from 2019.
Yeah. That is the one, and only, advantage to this years listening schedule for us. Essentially cutting our listening requirements in half has made it MUCH easier to go back and enjoy some earlier release – both from this year and previous years.
