We’re  Missing a Few Lucky Charms

Good luck getting horseshoes or balloons in here… Anyway, we have a jam packed show this week.  Why? On top of our (new) usual, we sprinkled a like live review for a little extra flavor.  Don’t like it? You can scrape it off and stick with what you’re used to.

Brick By Boring Brick – Part 2

It is brought to my (Brian, that is…in case you forgot I am the one that writes these things) attention in the beginning of this episode that my description of last week’s show may have been a bit harsh. Well, since we both agree that this week is more fitting to Episode 204’s title, I cheated on the name, while simultaneously starting a little episode sub-series.  Like last week, though, – or any week for that matter – you might think we are way off base on our lukewarm feelings for some of these album, or even the warmer feelings we have for the others.  If you’re going “hey, that’s me he’s talking about” then let us know in the comments!

Oops!

You may have noticed below that there are only three album reviews this week.  Well, as we explain in the beginning of the show, we kinda screwed up.  Some long time listeners might even say we “pulled a Kyle.” Our bad.  What’s left, though, is (largely) some good stuff!  We’ll make up for it next week…maybe…

Over this past week, the most of the US was melting like a snowball in Hell. Most of us didn’t find it very pleasant, especially sweating our balls off just going to and from work.  So, today, to celebrate returning to normal summer temperatures (at least here in the Northeast), we bring you another jam packed episode with a whole bunch of new tunes for your aural enjoyment.  Ok, fine…this episode would have happened even if this pass week was nothing special, but whatever. Enjoy it anyway.

Defying all expectations, the one and only Rock(jock) makes it back again!  (You know you’re excited…or something).  He even brings a special guest, who, if you have been listening, was mentioned in last two shows. With that, we also have a diverse review line-up, which includes one album where I guarantee some of the ratings given will shock you (hint: stick around to the end).  In the middle of the show, we “rapid fire” 10 new singles giving our first impressions of new albums dropping in the coming months.  Yes, TEN!  And we have more coming next week, so make sure you stay tuned.

Want to listent too all of the new music as it comes out?  Then makes sure you’re following The Sideshow on Google +!
