P.S.  As you heard last week, in this episode and may have read in comments recently, Nick and I overlooked a few releases when talking about Most Disappointing, Best Debut, etc. You should know by now we aren’t always the sharpest crayons in the box. What’s Thick, Heavy, and Feels Oh So Good?

Answer – the production on 3/4 of what we cover this week.
Anyway, last week we previewed a new Trap Them song and then commented we can hopefully review the album soon.  Well guess what? We can and we did. In addition to that, we have (spoiler alert) another awesome album…and one that missed the mark worse than a Stormtrooper. The new Car Bomb song almost makes up for it though.

Going Above and Beyond

What do these three albums have in common? Well, not a hell of a lot besides guitars, bass, drums, and somebody doing vocals.  Two of them did “transcend” our expectations and the other has “transcend” in the name, so I guess that is kinda of a connection.  It’s not a great one, but it’s something!
