Lucky Number Seven

We hit another milestone!  Seven years straight of a couple of Metal fans sharing their thoughts on new Metal albums.  Sure, not all of them have been posted “on time,” but for 364 weeks in a row we have posted episodes, working around natural disasters, vacations, and commitments to our actual jobs..  And this is about as much special attention as this is gonna get.

Defying Age

Two of the bands we cover this week have been around for quite some time.  In fact, your hosts have been following one of them for over half their lives! Sure, there are many more bands that fit that bill, but every now and then you just have that “when the hell did that happen?” moment.

What Just Happened?

We come across a lot of albums we love for any of a number of reasons but it is rare we come across something that truly stuns us (in a good way).  Well, we have one of those rare occurrences this week, and it helped create an episode that us musically all over the place. No seriously…try listening to all of this back-to-back, or worse, on shuffle.  Shit gets weird fast.
