It’s less than two weeks until the end of the year, so that means it is time to start telling you our favorite (and least favorite) things from this year. As in past years, before we get our top albums, we have some other short lists to share, such as Best EP, Most Improved, Worst Albums, and more! We have been saying every week so far this year, “it’s a slow week for releases” or that “nothing is coming out.” Obviously, there has been a ton of music, but the “bigger,” more recognizable names have been absent. Well, that all changes this week…and not necessarily for the better, as is the sad case for one of this week’s releases. To make up for it, Nick saw our friends in Byzantine destroy a small venue near his house and he tells you all about it.

Kyle returns to his post this week to guide you through another show full of debauchery and butchering the English language while trying to spit out at least semi-comprehenable reviews of the new albums.
