Thankful for Death Metal

Thanksgiving is this week in the USA, so we are giving thanks for all Metal.  This show in particular focuses of a few forms of Death Metal, including our live review, so we are extra thankful for the brutality it brings.

Season’s Beatings

Thanksgiving has past, so that means it is officially Christmas season.  (Unless you ask Nick, who wouldn’t give that day a “season” if he had the choice.) To get you in the mood for anxiously trying to find the right gift and possibly injuring another human to get a bargain TV, we reviewed some savage releases. Once you have that TV in your bloody hands, we have The Erkonauts for celebrating.

Mostly Comfortable

All of this week’s bands are seem pretty comfortable in their own skin.  We found, however, a couple need to shed their skin and grow, one is growing just fine, another is in a possible confused puberty stage, while yet another may be regressing in a way that is making us uncomfortable. To further this forced theme of comfort, make sure you listen to Nick’s live review for some, um, interesting moments at Trap Them’s last show.

Darkness in Many Forms

Atmospheric and brooding.  Gothic and creepy. Venomous and aggressive. These are just some of the ways we get to hear the dark this week.  Generally speaking, they are all enjoyable, it just comes down to what you prefer.  If you’re not sure, just stick through he show and try them all!
