Four Freakin’ Hundred!

So we have done a lot of episodes in our 8+ years as podcast!  It would have been more if we did change our release format this year, but we still haven’t missed a scheduled show!  This also mean we have listened to a metric fuckton of music, a fun fact Nick details in the show.

Thanks for being with us this far, and we look forward to being with you for years to come!

Eight Bands, One Episode

It has been a while, but your hosts saw the same tour!  Sure, we didn’t go together, but it still allows us to do a live review!  We do that in addition to three album reviews and a First Impression, so you best get started.

So thanks again being with us in 2016, and we look forward to a (hopefully better) 2017!  And now, enjoy our top albums of the year!!

P.S.  As you heard last week, in this episode and may have read in comments recently, Nick and I overlooked a few releases when talking about Most Disappointing, Best Debut, etc. You should know by now we aren’t always the sharpest crayons in the box. Well, adding to that list, we neglected to mention an EP we both enjoyed – Welcome to Poetry 201 by The Nietzsche. (Check out our 4 star review HERE if you missed it.) Sorry about that guys!

Going Above and Beyond

What do these three albums have in common? Well, not a hell of a lot besides guitars, bass, drums, and somebody doing vocals.  Two of them did “transcend” our expectations and the other has “transcend” in the name, so I guess that is kinda of a connection.  It’s not a great one, but it’s something!
