2019 Shit We Missed

As we usually do with the first episode of the year, we covered some albums we didn’t get to in the previous year.  Since we did some preemptive maintenance late in 2019, we took a different approach to what we chose for the episode. So let us know if there is anything else from 2019 (besides Tool) we should check out!

Yeah, We Did It Too

As we discussed in 2019 closer Episode 405, we made “best of the decade” list too.  After collaborating on the 2010 picks (the podcast hadn’t started yet), we took the top 3 albums from each of our “Best of the Year” lists.  Since we didn’t want to repeat bands, we then together picked the best of the repeat offenders.  Next, we individually ranked the remaining albums before finally compiling them like we do the other “Best of the Year” lists.

So, without further ado…

Fuck That Noise

One of these albums was so, uh, unpleasant that it spawned the title of the episode.  Fortunately, the rest of the show makes up for that album, but holy hell was that one bad.  Stop trying to guess which album I am referring to and just listen already.

But Did You Hear About Tool??

Yes, we acknowledge Tool did a thing right before we record this show.  Way more importantly, though, we have three new, far more relevant releases to discuss, plus a real ripper of a Sideshow ABCs pick!
