We get it. Some of you guys don’t wanna listen to us banter to hear updates from your favorite bands. We have a hard time stomaching Kyle too. To ease your pain, we will now be archiving just the interview portions of previous shows here for your listening pleasure.
The Human Abstract –
This is an OLD interview. Like, 2006 old. The Rock(jock), in all his college-DJ glory, sat down and chatted with then-vocalist Nathan Ells.
Hammers Of Misfortune –
Only seven short weeks into our podcasting adventure we called up John Cobbett of Hammers of Misfortune to discuss their new album 17th Street, the state of the music industry, touring, and more. (Find our review of the album here.)
Black Metal –
Resident comic nerd the Rock(jock) took an opportunity at ComicCon to search out Chuck BB and Rick Spears and talk to them about their heavy metal crossover comic Black Metal. The books are wonderful read and can be picked up here.
In episode 45 Nick got the opportunity to connect with one of his favorite musicians of all time – Chris “OJ” Ojeda founding member and frontman of West Virgina rockers Byzantine. The band had just announced a reunion and a Kickstarter campaign to fund a new album. (See our album review here.)
After an epic weekend full of concerts and paintball, hosts Brian and Nick ended their Sunday at a Skeletonwitch concert where they introduced themselves to the band and setup an interview with bassist Eric Linger. Hear about their writing process and life on the road of one of the hardest working bands in the business in this interview.
Stolen Babies –
We called up bassist Rani Sharone of the amazingly unique Stolen Babies to talk about their newest album Naught and the writing process that went into creating such a masterpiece. (You can find our reviews here.)
