First off – yes, I am aware that the show title is also the same as an In Flames live release from 2005. Where do you think I got it from?
Now that that is out of the way…I chose that title because I went to three shows in five days last week and they are reviewed in this here episode. Nick even traversed the highway-hell known as Connecticut to join me for one of them! Also, we have our usual reviews of four new albums because that’s kinda what we do here. Busy episode, so you should just dive right in.
Reviews:
Amaranthe – Massive Addictive (Spinefarm)
Baptists – Bloodmines (Southern Lord)
Nero Di Marte – Derivae (Prosthetic)
Slipknot – .5: The Gray Chapter (Roadrunner)

I feel like there is so much to comment on regarding this episode. But I don’t seem to have the time to write it all down! Maybe I’ll just give some “quick hits”:
Slipknot: not bad.
Nero Di Marte: too many other albums out today to listen to this one.
Black Crown Initiate: great album, very good live act.
Byzantine: some of the most fun I’ve ever had at a concert.
Kreator: Brian summed it up by yelling “SLAYER!”
Arch Enemy: Alissa is awesome. And that Amott guy sure can play the guitar.
Amaranthe: intrigued, but as with Nero Di Marte, there is currently an over-supply of albums to listen to.
