Episode 98: Sheffer Stroke

Lured back with the promise of two controversial reviews, Kyle returns after one of his usual, unexplained hiatuses.  While he only got one true bout of all-out disagreement, he did stick around the whole show to assist in this week’s five new album reviews, all of which are accompanied by new music! However, we think he got his money’s worth out of said review.  Now, there real question is, “Will he return next week?”  Nick and Brian’s guess, “No” but stranger things have happened.

  1. So Brian is going to 9 concerts in the next 2 months and it seems like 8 of them are in one week at the end of September.

One other point is that you guys could combine a “lemme try that one again” segment with a “shit you missed” for any albums that some of you may have missed but others of you may want to revisit, for such albums as Nails.

  2. In the small world of female-fronted Dillinger clone bands, I prefer Rolo Tomassi over I Wrestled a Bear Once. Eva Spence is better than any of those other IWABO vocalists. I don’t think you guys reviewed Rolo Tomassi’s 2012 album, Astraea.
